Free! Prizes! Fun for teachers!

Field Trip for Teachers & Science Education Resource Fair at Chabot Space & Science Center—Saturday, March 21

Question: Wouldn’t it be great if there was a “farmers market” style event where teachers could talk with people from a wide range of science education programs, for FREE, while noshing and networking with fellow teachers, all at an amazing science playground? Plus, prizes?!

Answer: We think so! And that’s why CRS has teamed up with Chabot Space and Science Center to present our Spring Field Trip for Teacher event! Come join us on Saturday March 21. You’ll receive free admission to the science center, delicious nibbles (breakfast time and mid day!), and have the opportunity to peruse offerings from about two dozen science providers. Discover great science resources – from field trips, to in-class programs, to lesson plans, to professional development and more – all under one roof. Chabot will provide behind the scene access to some of their displays, classroom programs, field trip offerings, and more!

Special guest: Noted children's author Jon Scieszka will be on hand to greet teachers and talk about exploring science and engineering with students! He has a new book coming out Frank Einstein and the Antimatter Motor. Science Verse and Math Curse are on my list of favorite books!
